TRAUMA SYSTEMS MEMBERSHIP

Practical advice for regional and State trauma systems is hard to find anywhere except at the NFTC. Learning what works in other states allows member trauma systems to devote energy to consensus building and smooth system development. NFTC trauma system experts have years of experience leading State trauma systems and conducting trauma center site reviews.

NFTC System Advisors have been involved at both State and Federal levels with trauma system planning, grant review, NHTSA surveys, and trauma systems research. They have expertise in trauma system performance improvement (PI) and have developed tools for NFTC Trauma Center and System Members for all levels of PI. The NFTC continuously catalogues trauma statutes, administrative rules and regulations, and identifies strategies for trauma funding for rapid member access and advice.
