NFTC COMMITTEES
Terror Response/Preparedness Committee
The Terror Committee will provide overall focus and direction to NFTC's activities related to the connection between disaster/terror preparedness and response with our nation's trauma centers and systems.
Objectives:
1. To identify the issues related to trauma center's role in planning and response to natural and human-caused mass casualty situations.
2. To support local, regional, State and Federal initiatives that improve the ability of trauma centers and systems to function in times of crisis.
3. To increase awareness on the part of the public and legislators at all levels about trauma centers and systems and their suitability to participate in the planning and response to these crises.
4. To identify and disseminate Best Practices, including technological advances that support the purpose and mission of the NFTC.
